Rentruck were very pleased to help our Santander bank manager Mick "Batman" Pickering this week, when he needed a minibus to get himself and fellow charity workers around on a fund-raising mission for The Eve Appeal, a gynaecological cancer research charity. Great day at Belle Vue speedway yesterday, as Rentruck and Cool Running Rental`s sponsorship of the Belle Vue Aces began.............unfortunately with a loss to the Wolverhampton Wolves.

Rentruck Aces take to the track

Belle Vue speedway`s first meeting of the season, starts at 1pm tomorrow against the Wolverhampton Wolves, when the Rentruck Aces take to the track for the first time at home this season.

Get down there and come and say hello. We`ll be there on the Sponsors table need the start/finish line.

Rentruck and Cool Running Rental are pleased to announce the arrival of 2 more temperature-controlled 313 medium wheelbase Sprinters on to the fleet. The vehicles have been converted by our good friends at GRP Leeds, and are fitted with a GAH temperature control unit, capable of attaining anywhere between +/- 25 degrees, thus able to service both the food chain and pharmaceutical industry`s requirements. They are also capable of attaining 2 different temperatures at the same time, by means of a moveable bulk-head which we can supply on request. As with all our temp-control vans, it is equipped with an electrical standby facility, to allow the vehicle to keep goods to temperature, even when the vehicle isn`t running.

Belle Vue Speedway Sponsors

Rentruck are extremely proud to announce an agreement with the world famous Belle Vue Speedway club, to become the main sponsors of The Aces for the next 3 years. In a vehicles plus cash deal, it will see the team name become The Rentruck Aces, and will be accompanied by a greater prescence at the stadium, primarily at Kirkmanshulme Lane, and in the future at the imminent National Speedway Centre.

In addition to being named The Rentruck Aces, the riders kevlars will also bear the name of Cool Running Rental, the refrigerated arm of the Rentruck group.

Please get in touch with us at Rentruck, as there will be occasions next year where we would like current and prospective customers to join us at the sponsors table, to enjoy the speedway action.

`Dale sign new striker

Rochdale Football Club have signed prolific striker Richard Cotton. Cotton, 29, pictured with Dale boss Keith Hill after signing this morning is delighted to become Keith`s first signing since his return to the club. The fleet-footed, energetic striker, previously a free-agent after being released from various clubs some 25 years ago, is expected to be an unmitigated disaster!!!

Seriously, Rentruck are very pleased to have supplied a car to Keith on a short-term hire, and to become a minor sponsor of the Football Club at the same time. An advertising hoarding and programme advert, along with discounted vehicle hire are part of the package.

Speedway season has come to a close and so, all our 3 vans that have been on loan to Belle Vue are back. Thanks to Phil Naylor, here are a couple of pictures of the lads. Vans have been predominately used by Patrick Houggard, Renat Gafurov and Artur Mroczka.

Hope to do the same next year.

All are freezer spec. capable of -25 degrees, G.R.P. conversion, GAH refrigeration units, electrical standby and equipped for dual-compartment (moveable bulkhead not supplied). We have medium wheelbase VW Crafters and long wheelbase Mercedes Sprinters on "09" and "59" plates. Full service histories for the vans and fully serviced refrigeration units by GAH.

New Vehicle Orders

Rentruck can announce that they have agreed a deal with Mercedes dealership Road Range of Liverpool, to deliver 3 new long wheelbase 313 Sprinters next week. The deal is subject to 3 part exchange vehicles leaving the Rentruck fleet.

Quick reminder that next week sees the arrival of 2 Fiat 500s. Weird, funky, quirky, ugly.........you decide. Available for rental shortly.

And lastly, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, automatic 4x4, leather interior arrives at the start of December. Perfect for the snow......if you can find it??? It`s ice white in colour!!!!

Range Rover Sport for hire

Now we`re talking..........need to rent something a little bit out of the ordinary??? With winter just around the corner, we have brought a Range Rover Sport on to the fleet.

We can only hire this car on customer`s own insurance......so if you are able to insure the vehicle, give us a ring for a price.

Discounted weekly prices

Whenever you rent a vehicle from Rentruck, we will always offer discounts on longer term hires.

Rent a van for 7 days and only pay for 4, or rent a car for 7 days and only pay for 5.

If your hire is for 4 weeks, we will discount the weekly price by a further 20%.

Any hires longer than 4 weeks would be subject to a tailored price, so phone us on 01706 640055 to discuss your hire.

Rentruck has agreed a deal with Road Range Mercedes Liverpool today, for the delivery of 2 313 long wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter panel vans, and 2 313 Mercedes Sprinter chassis cabs. The chassis cabs are to be converted by Ken Rosebury and Sons ltd. into a Luton bow with tail-lift and a flat-bed pick-up. All vehicles will be on fleet by 1st October 2012.
